Weather in Aberdeen

Best time to visit

The best time to visit Aberdeen is between June and September, when the weather can be sunny and warm. Days are wonderfully long, reaching 18 hours during the summer solstice, thanks to its northern latitude. Bear in mind though that when the rain falls, it tends to be heavy. Winters are cold and the days are shockingly short, with the sun rising after 830am in December and setting again around 3.30pm. Winter visitors tend to be limited to skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts.
