Hotels in Abu Dhabi
There are no cheap hotels in Abu Dhabi. Even the 2- and 3-star varieties are relatively expensive. However, since the global economic crisis hit the region, 5-star hotels in Abu Dhabi have begun offering weekend and vacation deals for tourists, especially during the hot summer months. The hotels below have been grouped into four different pricing categories:

These prices are for a double room per night and include all taxes and breakfast, unless otherwise indicated.
Abu Dhabi Airport Hotel
The 40-room Abu Dhabi Airport Hotel is located in the Terminal 1 transit area, and offers a health club, business centre and children's play area.
Al Diar Mina Hotel
A welcoming hotel that offers an attractive combination of comfort, convenience and reasonable prices, the Al Diar Mina Hotel has 106 rooms, all with kitchenettes. The hotel is basic by Abu Dhabi standards, but it is cosy and pleasant. It has a restaurant as well as bar with live entertainment, and photocopying and fax services are available. Guests can use the business centre and gym at the neighbouring Regency Hotel without charge.
Al Maha Rotana Suites
Combining traditional Arabic hospitality with modern luxury, this Rotana Suites property has a lot to offer guests, including a business centre, gym, massage room, a rooftop temperature-controlled swimming pool and 288 well-appointed studios and suites with kitchenettes and high-speed Internet connection.
Emirates Palace Abu Dhabi
Allegedly one of the most expensive hotels ever built, this palace boasts 302 grand rooms and 92 magnificent suites, each combining the ultimate in luxury with state-of-the-art technology. There are 10 restaurants, a spa, a swimming pool, a private beach, two tennis courts, two fitness centres and several exclusive boutiques. The conference and banqueting facilities are second to none.
Hilton Baynunah hotel
Rising up 42 floors, the Hilton Baynunah offers great views of the city centre. All guest rooms offer high-speed Internet access. The hotel has a gym, the city's biggest indoor swimming pool, a sauna, a business lounge and a well-equipped meeting room. The Level 2 restaurant offers a combination of international cuisine and local specialities.
Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi
A seriously opulent hotel with 275 guest rooms (including 79 luxury suites), Le Royal Méridien offers indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a fitness centre with sauna and steam room, a squash hall, 10 restaurants and bars and excellent facilities for business meetings and banquets.
One to One Hotels - The Village
One of Abu Dhabi's first truly boutique hotels, The Village was built to resemble a street, complete with shops and restaurants. Hotel facilities include Internet access, a gym and a business centre.
Shangri-La Hotel, Abu Dhabi
Located 15 minutes from the city centre facing the impressive Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Mosque, the Shangri-La hotel is the city's newest addition to its 5-star portfolio. The hotel boasts 214 rooms, as well as 161 serviced apartments, most of which face the strait dividing Abu Dhabi island from the mainland. Adjacent to the hotel is a souk built to resemble a traditional Arabian market.
Sheraton Abu Dhabi Hotel & Resort
Overlooking the Arabian Gulf, the 5-star Sheraton Abu Dhabi Hotel & Resort has 272 guest rooms and suites, all luxuriously appointed and offering high-speed Internet access. The hotel has excellent restaurants, a business centre and state of the art banqueting and conference facilities.
