The airport is situated 6km (4 miles) west of Adelaide city centre.
Airport News
Plans were announced in mid-2007 for further expansion of the new terminal, which opened in in 2005.
Driving Directions
Follow Sir Donald Bradman Drive from Adelaide city centre and turn off down Sir Richard Williams Drive after 5km (3 miles).
Car Parking
A public car park is conveniently located immediately outside T1. Long-term car parking is available remote from the terminal and is served by shuttle bus every 20 minutes. Valet parking is also available.
Car Hire
Avis, Budget, Hertz and Thrifty are represented at the airport. Car hire companies have offices in the car park.
Public Transport
Bus: The Skylink Airport Shuttle (tel: (08) 8332 0528; www.skylinkadelaide.com) operates every 30 minutes from the terminal during flight operation hours and links the airport with the city centre. Adelaide Airport Flyer (tel: (08) 8284 4456 or 1300 856 444; www.adelaideairportflyer.com) offers door-to-door mini coach services to and from areas further afield.
Taxi: There are taxi ranks at the airport (journey time to the city centre - 15 minutes) and all taxis are metered.

Information and service desks (tel: (08) 8154 9490) are located on the arrivals level.
Airport Facilities
Money and communications: There are several bureaux de change, public telephones and ATMs, as well as free Internet access throughout T1. Paid for Wi-Fi access is available at gates and in lounges.
Eating and drinking: There are restaurants, bars and cafes at the airport.
Shopping: There are plenty of shops in T1, including a chemist's, newsagents, clothing and gift shops, as well as duty-free shops.
Luggage: Lockers are available adjacent to the car rental offices in the car park. Lost property enquiries should be directed to (tel: (08) 8154 9468).
Other facilities: There is a children's playroom and a prayer room on the departures level.
Conference and Business Facilities
Conference room facilities are available on the International Mezzanine only. Qantas VIP Lounges (tel: (08) 8208 8869) has fax, photocopying and Internet facilities. Singapore Airlines and Malaysia Airlines also have VIP lounges, also on the International Mezzanine. Conference facilities are available at the nearby Aviators' Lodge Hotel (tel: (08) 8356 8388; www.aviators-lodge.com.au). Paid for Wi-Fi Internet access is available at gates and in lounges.
Facilities for Disabled Travellers
All facilities at the airport are designed for persons with disabilities where necessary. There are lifts, ramps and designated toilets. Disabled parking is provided next to the entrance to the terminal building. There are TDD telephones for hearing-impaired travellers.
Hotels
The Adelaide Airport Motel (tel: (08) 8234 4000; www.adelaideairportmotel.com.au) and the Aviator's Lodge (tel: (08) 8356 8388; www.aviators-lodge.com.au) are located on the airport boundary. Both offer courtesy shuttle services. Other hotels are located in the city, about 15 minutes away from the airport.
