The airport is situated 20km (13 miles) southwest of Cincinnati.
Airport News
Free Wi-Fi Internet access was introduced throughout Terminals 2 and 3, and in Concourse C, early in 2008. Terminal 1 is currently not in use.
Transfer Between Terminals
The airport provides a free underground tram and bus shuttle between the terminals and car parks.
Driving Directions
From central Cincinnati, head south on I-71 or I-75, across the Ohio River. Then turn right onto exit 185 and follow the I-275 Circle Freeway west. Turn right at exit 4 onto SR212 and follow signs to the terminals and parking facilities.
Car Parking
There are three car parks within the CVG Autoport complex, for short-term parking with direct access to all terminals (the first 30 minutes are free), and one remote outdoor car park, serviced by a 24-hour free shuttle bus connecting with the terminal buildings. There is also a short-term 'cell phone lot' for drivers collecting arriving passengers. Valet parking is available. Parking information is available on the airport website or on (tel: (859) 767 3105).
Car Hire
All major companies, including Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National and Thrifty are represented. Courtesy telephones are located near the exits in the baggage reclaim areas for car hire reservations. Shuttles run to the car hire company locations.
Public Transport
Bus: The Airport Executive Shuttle (tel: (859) 261 8841; www.executivetranscincy.com) service runs to downtown Cincinnati and the Kentucky side of the Ohio River; stops en route can be arranged on request. A request service is available for hotels and for destinations throughout Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. Reservations should be made 24 hours in advance, although walk-up service is also available; the desk is located in the baggage reclaim areas of all terminals. TANK public bus services (tel: (859) 331 8265; www.tankbus.org) run to central Cincinnati and Covington. Buses run from the Terminal 1 crosswalk and outside the Terminal 3 baggage reclaim areas. Ground transportation information desks are located in the baggage reclaim areas of each terminal.
Taxi: Taxis (tel: (859) 767 3260) operate 24 hours a day at a set fee for journeys into Cincinnati. There is a courtesy phone in the Terminal 2 baggage claim area and a taxi desk in Terminal 3 baggage claim.
Information and Help Desks
Airport Ambassadors are on hand in the Terminal 3 baggage claim area and on Concourse B. Information booths are situated on Concourses A and C.
Airport Facilities
Money and communications: There are plenty of ATMs throughout the airport, as well as banks and bureau de change facilities. Free Wi-Fi Internet access is offered in Terminals 2 and 3 and on Concourse C.
Eating and drinking: Restaurants, bars, delis and other concessions are located throughout the terminal buildings, with a wide variety available on the Terminal 3 concourse.
Shopping: There are newsagents/gift shops in all terminals and duty-free and a wide variety of other shops on the Terminal 3 concourse.
Luggage: Trolleys are available throughout the airport. A lost and found service (tel: (859) 372 9800 for items left at security and (859) 767 4885 for property mislaid elsewhere in the airport) is available.
Other facilities: Emergency paramedic services are available and there is a children’s play area.
Conference and Business Facilities
There are several Laptop Lane business centres providing workstations, Internet, telephones and fax. There is also a self-service 24-hour notebook Laptop Lane station in the public area of Terminal 1. The on-site Sheraton Hotel (tel: (859) 371 6166; www.starwoodhotels.com) can cater for up to 600 people. It has a grand ballroom, which can be subdivided into six rooms, and nine smaller meeting/conference rooms for hire.
Facilities for Disabled Travellers
The airport is fully accessible for travellers with disabilities; facilities include text telephones and visual paging and wheelchair-accessible disabled parking spaces. Passengers requiring assistance should inform their airlines prior to travel.

Hotels close to the airport include the Cincinnati Airport Marriott (tel: (859) 586 0166; www.marriott.com), the Hampton Cincinnati Inn Airport North (tel: (859) 689 1960; http://hamptoninn.hilton.com), the Country Inn and Suites (tel: (859) 689 0700; www.countryinns.com) and the Residence Inn (tel: (859) 282 7400; www.marriott.com). Most local hotels offer a complimentary airport shuttle service.
