The airport is situated 6.5km (4 miles) south east of Coventry.
Airport News
Coventry Airport is seeking permission to construct a new terminal building but these proposals have been met with ongoing controversy. A new retail area is under development and new cafeteria facilities are now open.
Driving Directions
The airport can be reached by following the A45 or A46 to the Toll Bar roundabout. The airport is about 1.5km (1 mile) from this roundabout and the route, along Siskin Drive and then Siskin Parkway West, is clearly signposted.
Car Parking
Official airport parking (tel: (0845) 362 0700; www.parkingatcoventryairport.com) is located both on-site and around the airport boundary, linked to the passenger terminal by a free shuttle bus. On-site parking is in a 38-space car park, and is limited to stays of one hour or less. There are around 100 spaces available in off-site car parks if longer stay parking is required. Passengers should allow 40 minutes for parking their car prior to check-in. There are designated disabled parking spaces available in both the short and long stay car parks and assisted transport to the passenger terminal from the off-site car parks is available.

Europcar, 1 Car 1 and Thrifty have outlets at the airport.
Public Transport
Bus: Mike de Courcey Travel (tel: (024) 7630 2656; www.decourceytravel.com) operates a service between Coventry city centre and the airport terminal. The 737 bus service runs hourly, departing from the airport on the half hour, and from Pool Meadow Coach Station in the city centre on the hour, between 0700 and 1900. The service calls at Broadgate in the city centre and Coventry Railway Station on its way (journey time - 30 minutes).
Taxi: Central Taxis (tel: (024) 7633 3333; www.centraltaxiscoventry.co.uk) provides a service to and from the airport (journey time - 15 minutes). The taxi rank is located outside the arrivals building.

Airport Facilities
Money and communications: An ATM and facilities to exchange currency in €100 bundles are available. Paid for Wi-Fi Internet access is available landside in Max Bean's Cafe, and airside in the departure lounge.
Eating and drinking: There are two self-service restaurants and a bar available, either in Rapide House or in the departure lounge of the airport.
Shopping: There is a shop, which sells gifts, fragrances, newspapers, magazines and books.
Luggage: The lost property service can be contacted on (tel: (024) 7651 6421). For all other baggage enquiries, call (024) 7630 8600.
Other facilities: These include baby change facilities.
Conference and Business Facilities
The Business Aviation Centre run by Midwest Executive Aviation (tel: (024) 7630 6700; www.midwestexec.com) is available to business passengers, and provides spacious lounges, complimentary beverages and satellite entertainment. Meeting facilities are available at the nearby Chace Hotel (tel: 0844 736 8607; www.corushotels.com).
Facilities for Disabled Travellers
The airport is all on one level, with no stairs or escalators. Disabled toilet facilities and parking are both available. Passengers with special needs must request any assistance that they will need at the airport in advance by contacting Thomsonfly.com customer services (tel: 0871 231 4691; www.thomsonfly.com).

The Old Mill Hotel (tel: (024) 7630 2241; http://oldmillhotel.com) is located in the village of Baginton, 1.6km (1 mile) from the airport. The Glengary (tel: (024) 7630 5804; www.theglengary.co.uk) is also located on the A45 in a very convenient location for the airport. The Chace Hotel (tel: 0844 736 8607; www.corushotels.com) is also very close to the airport.
