The airport is situated 24km (15 miles) north of Jacksonville.
Driving Directions
The airport can be reached from the centre of Jacksonville by taking the I-95 to Airport Road (exit 363-B), and taking the westbound signposted route to the terminal. Road access from Georgia and St Augustine is also via the I-95.
Car Parking
The airport has hourly and daily parking in the multistorey garage and daily parking in a surface lot located in front of the terminal; and three long-term economy parking areas. Visitors wishing to pick up travellers can park in the courtesy waiting lot, near the administration building. The first half hour of parking in the hourly and daily parking garage is free of charge. Apart from the garage, which is located next to the terminal, all car parks are served by a free 24-hour shuttle bus to/from the terminal. Valet parking is available in front of the terminal building, 24 hours a day, from AirValet (tel: (904) 741 1005); the vehicle check-in booth is located on the upper level of the terminal.
Car Hire
Car hire companies Alamo-National Car, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz and Thrifty are all represented at the airport. These are located on the lower level of the terminal building next to the baggage reclaim area.
Public Transport
All services depart from the lower level of the terminal building next to the baggage reclaim area.
Bus: Express Shuttle (tel: (904) 353 8880 or 1 800 394 0116, in the US only) is a minibus service, which will take passengers anywhere in Florida or Southeast Georgia. Passengers wishing to use this service should go to the Express Shuttle booth in section five of the middle kerb outside the baggage reclaim area. The AIRJTA shuttle bus service also links the airport and Downtown. Call (904) 630 3100 for schedule and rate information.
Taxi: Gator City Taxis (tel: (904) 741 0008) is the official taxi company serving the airport.
Information and Help Desks
The information centre and welcome desk (tel: (904) 741 4902) is situated on the lower level of the terminal building. Ambassadors are also present at the airport to help travellers find their bearings round the airport and provide assistance as needed.
Airport Facilities
Money and communications: ATMs are available on the lower level after baggage reclaim and on the upper level before the security checkpoint. There are also courtesy telephones. Telephones are available throughout the terminal; pre-paid phone cards are available on all concourses. Postal facilities, including a stamp machine, post box and FedEx drop box are situated in the Business Centre, in the upper level central courtyard, post-security. Internet access is available too.
Eating and drinking: There are numerous bars, coffee shops, restaurants and snack bars on the upper level courtyard and concourses.
Shopping: There are newsagents and gift shops, luxury gifts, a bookshop, a convenience store, DVD rental, a florist, a leather shop, a sunglasses shop and a PGA golf shop; shops are located on both levels.
Luggage: Trolleys are available for a small fee. Lockers are available in the Business Centre. For lost property, contact (904) 741 2022).
Other facilities: There's a spa, shoeshine facilities, a 24-hour chapel, a meet-and-greet service and a video games arcade.
Conference and Business Facilities
There is a Business Centre at the airport, situated in the upper level central courtyard, post-security, which offers postal services, free printing, telephone, Wi-Fi, power ports, a change machine and mobile phone hire. The Clarion Airport Hotel & Conference Center (tel: (904) 741 1997; www.jaxclarion.com) is located within the airport grounds and has a business centre, 14 meeting rooms, office workstations and video-conferencing. Its customer service desk is located in the baggage reclaim area.
Facilities for Disabled Travellers
The airport is fully accessible with lifts connecting both levels and has facilities for disabled customers. Passengers with special needs should contact the airline they plan to fly with to arrange assistance. Wheelchairs are available and there are adapted toilets on all levels and concourses.

The Clarion Airport Hotel & Conference Center (tel: (904) 741 1997; www.jaxclarion.com) is located within the airport grounds and has a customer service desk in the baggage reclaim area; the Courtyard Marriott Hotel (tel: (904) 741 1122; www.marriott.com) can be contacted from the courtesy telephone in the baggage reclaim area, as can the Holiday Inn - Airport (tel: (904) 741 4404; www.hijacksonville.com). The Fairfield Inn (tel: (904) 741 3500; www.marriott.com) can arrange a courtesy shuttle bus and passengers needing this service should exit baggage reclaim and ask a porter. The Hilton Garden Inn (tel: (904) 421 2700; www.hiltongardeninn.com) is located 1.6km (1 mile) from the airport - a complimentary shuttle bus transports passengers to/from the airport, and a business centre is available 24 hours a day.
