The airport is located 21km (13 miles) southwest of Nottingham.
Driving Directions
From Nottingham, take the A52 westbound and join the M1 at junction 25 southbound. Continue southbound and exit at junction 24, then follow signs to the airport.
Car Parking
Parking for more than 4,000 cars is available at the airport. The short-stay car park is located outside the main terminal building, whilst a courtesy shuttle transports passengers to/from the medium and long-stay car parks. Car Hire
Avis, Enterprise, Europcar, Hertz and National/Alamo all have offices located in the Arrivals area.
Public Transport
Bus: There are bus services to Nottingham, Derby and Leicester (with connections to destinations around Great Britain on the Intercity network) from outside the main Arrivals area. The Nottingham Skylink (www.skylink.co.uk) is a direct service between the airport and Nottingham city centre and train station. It operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Kinchbus Airline Shuttle (tel: (01509) 815 637; www.kinchbus.co.uk) runs to Derby, while Leicester Skylink (www.skylink.co.uk) serves Leicester. Taxi: Checker Cars are the taxi concession at the airport (tel: (01332) 814 000; www.checkercars.com).

There is a 24-hour information desk (tel: 0871 919 9000) in the main terminal building. The airport magazine, Flightscene, and Scheduled Flight Guide are available.
Airport Facilities
Money and communications: Telephones, ATMs and two bureaux de change are available in the main terminal building. Wi-Fi Internet access is also available in various hot spots throughout the terminal.
Eating and drinking: Cafes, restaurants, a pub, a bar, a sandwich bar and a food village are all available.
Shopping: There are many retail outlets at the airport, including a duty- and tax-free shop.
Luggage: A lost property service is operated by the information desk (tel: 0871 919 9000). Left-luggage facilities are provided by the individual airlines, on request.
Other facilities: These include a first aid room, nursing rooms, children’s play areas, an executive lounge, an aviation museum (the Aeropark), a prayer room and a travel agent.

Porters are available to provide assistance to wheelchair passengers; those wishing to use this service should contact the information desk (tel: 0871 919 9000). Reserved parking is provided in the short-term car park located 50m (164ft) from the terminal building entrance. There are also adapted toilets, lowered phones and a lift, and hearing loops are located throughout the terminal. Wheelchairs and wheelchair-accessible taxis are also available; passengers who require the ambulift for boarding aircraft should notify their airline at the time of booking.

The Hilton East Midlands Airport (tel: (01509) 674 000; www.hilton.com) is located 3km (2 miles) away and the Express by Holiday Inn (tel: (01509) 678 000; www.ichotelsgroup.com) is on the Pegasus Business Park next to the airport; both provide a shuttle service to/from the airport.
