The airport is located 8km (5 miles) east of Palma de Mallorca.
Driving Directions
To get to the airport from Palma, take the autovia (main road) in the direction of Santanyí (Santañí) and turn off before the airport.
Car Parking
There is a covered car park close to the terminal for long- and short-term parking. The car park has a capacity for 5,700 vehicles on six floors. The ground floor is used by car hire companies; and long-term parking is on the fifth and sixth floors. All floors are have disabled parking spaces, situated next to lifts and escalators. The fourth floor has escalators and a covered walkway that connect the car park to the terminal building Departures area.
Car Hire

Public Transport
Bus: Bus 1 (tel: 971 431 024; www.emtpalma.es) runs through central Palma de Mallorca (journey time - 30 minutes) the Dic de l'Oest. There is a bus stop in front of the multi-storey car park, outside Door D of the Arrivals floor, and another one outside the check-in floor, opposite the airport access road.
Taxi: Taxis leave from outside the Arrivals level. Taxi companies serving the city centre (journey time - 15 minutes) include Fono Taxi (tel: 971 728 081), Radio Taxi (tel: 971 755 440) and Taxi Palma Radio (tel: 971 401 414; www.taxispalmaradio.com).
Information and Help Desks
Information desks (tel: 902 404 704) can be found in Arrivals, Departures and check-in. Customer service personnel, known as the ‘blue jackets’, are on hand to assist passengers on the second floor. There is a tourist information desk on the ground floor of the terminal (tel: 971 789 556).
Airport Facilities
Money and communications: The terminal has a full service bank on the Departures fourth floor and several ATMs. There are also post boxes, a post office and telephones.
Eating and drinking: There are numerous bars and restaurants at the airport, including a 24-hour bar and a 24-hour cafeteria.
Shopping: Shops include duty-free, a tobacconists, toy shop, leather goods shop, shoe shops, a jewellers, opticians, florists, sweet shops, gift shops and a clothing accessories shop.
Luggage: There is no left-luggage facility at the airport. A lost property service is situated on the ground floor (tel: 971 789 979).
Other facilities: There are 24-hour first aid services and a pharmacy, as well as numerous travel agents and a children’s room.
Conference and Business Facilities
There are two VIP lounges at the airport, the Formentor (tel: 971 787 693) in the D concourse boarding area, and Miró (tel: 971 789 631) lounges, situated in the Departures area. These provide free newspapers, a television, telephone and self-service bar. The airport also offers meeting rooms, telephone, fax machines, computers and Internet access. Conference and meeting facilities are available in the Babor Lounge (tel: 971 789 620).
Facilities for Disabled Travellers
There are lifts and ramps in the terminal where necessary. Wheelchair-accessible toilets and disabled parking spaces are also available.

There are no hotels in the airport grounds, most being in and around the city, but hotel reservations can be made at the airport tourist information office (tel: 971 789 556).
