The airport is situated 8km (5 miles) west of Tampa.
Driving Directions
Hwy-60 passes the airport entrance just east of the start of the Courtney Campbell Causeway and just south of the end of Veterans Expressway. Alternatively, drive via Spruce Street or Columbus Drive westbound from Tampa. The airport entrance is west of Westshore Boulevard. On the main highway network, the airport is accessed from I-275 exit 39 and is well signposted.
Car Parking
There is a short-term parking garage for stays of four hours or less, with direct access to the terminal via lifts. The long-term car park provides a monorail service for access to the terminal and is also connected to the terminal via pedestrian bridges. There is a remote economy car park located behind the airport post office and connected to the terminal by a free shuttle service. Look for the signs to this remote car park when driving into the airport. Valet parking is also available. Parking information is available (tel: (813) 870 8790), but no advance reservations can be made.
Car Hire
Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz and Thrifty have desks in the baggage reclaim areas. There are also several off-airport car rental companies, including Alamo, National and Payless; courtesy shuttles are available to take passengers to pick up their hire car.

Bus: Sarasota-Tampa Express (tel: (941) 355 8400 or 800 326 2800; www.stexps.com) runs a direct service to Sarasota/Bradenton International Airport; the bus stops are in the Blue Quadrant 1 and Red Quadrant 2. HARTline (tel: (813) 254 4278: www.hartline.org) Route 30 runs to destinations including central Tampa; the bus stop is located at Red baggage reclaim.
Taxi: Taxis are available from Yellow Cab (tel: (813) 253 0121) and United Cab (tel: (813) 253 2424).
Shuttles: There is a desk at each end of Arrivals for shared-ride shuttle services. SuperShuttle (tel: (727) 572 1111 or 800 282 6817; www.supershuttle.com) serves Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco and Hernando counties. There is a free shuttle from the airport level 1 to International Plaza, Tampa Bay’s newest mall.

Information kiosks are located throughout level 3. Information is also available from Travelers Aid (tel: (813) 870 8797), on level 3. White courtesy phones are situated on level 3 for passenger paging.
Airport Facilities
Money and communications: There is a bank, bureau de change, post boxes, stamp machines and several ATMs at the airport. Telephones with data ports and individual data ports are also available throughout the terminal. There is a post office located near the remote economy car park.
Eating and drinking: There are several restaurants, fast-food outlets and cafes throughout the airport.
Shopping: There are many shops at the airport, including newsagents, gift shops and duty-free.
Luggage: There are no lockers at the airport. Trolleys are available throughout the terminal and car parks for a fee. For lost and found contact the airport police (tel: (813) 870 8700 ext.8270).
Other facilities: A first aid room, a chapel, a kid's play area (open 24 hours a day) and baby change facilities.
Conference and Business Facilities
There is a business centre at the Airport Marriott Hotel (tel: (813) 872 5811; www.marriott.com), which offers computer workstations with Internet access, faxing, colour printing, photocopying and shipping services. Meeting rooms are also available.
Facilities for Disabled Travellers
Facilities include TTY/TDD telephones for hearing-impaired travellers. Reserved parking spaces are provided on all levels of the short-term and long-term garages. Adapted toilets are also available and the terminal is equipped with lifts and ramps.

The La Quinta Inn Tampa Airport (tel: (813) 287 0440; www.lq.com), AmeriSuites - Tampa Airport (tel: (813) 282 1037; www.amerisuites.com), Tampa Marriott Westshore (tel: (813) 287 2555; www.marriott.com) and Hilton Tampa Airport Westshore (tel: (813) 877 6688; www.hilton.com) are all within 2.5km (1.5 miles) of the airport. Courtesy phones are available to make a reservation upon arrival.
