The airport is situated 60km (37.5 miles) south of Santa Cruz.
Driving Directions
From Santa Cruz de Tenerife in the north of the island, take the TF-1 motorway south, until the signposted junction for the airport.
Car Parking
There are over 800 spaces for cars at the airport; parking is free for the first 15 minutes. Short- and long-term parking is situated just across the road from the terminal building, by the bus and taxi stops.

Public Transport
Bus: Buses leave regularly from the airport on three routes. Bus 341 runs to the central bus station in Santa Cruz de Tenerife at La Avenida Marítima. Bus 340 runs to North Tenerife Airport (for inter-island flights) and Puerto de la Cruz. Bus 487 runs to Los Cristianos (for ferries to La Palma and La Gomera) and Playa de Las Américas. Buses depart from outside Arrivals.
Taxi: Taxis are available to Santa Cruz de Tenerife (journey time - 60 minutes) from in front of Arrivals (tel: (922) 759 009).
