The airport is situated 9.5km (6 miles) northeast of the centre of the city of Madison.

The airport opened a new three-storey parking facility late in 2008, offering capacity for a further 1,300 vehicles.
Driving Directions
From downtown Madison, head west on University Avenue. Turn left onto East Johnson Street. After about 1.5km (1 mile), turn left onto Pennsylvania Avenue and continue on Packers Avenue until the airport exit to the right.
Car Parking
The airport's 3,550 vehicle parking facility consists of a multi-storey carpark, a daily carpark and an economy 'park & walk' carpark. There is a 10-minute walk from the economy lot to the terminal. For more parking information, call (608) 246 3380.
Car Hire
Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National/Alamo and Thrifty offer car hire at the airport, all with desks opposite the baggage claim area. Hire car collections can be found at door 6 of the main car park opposite the terminal.
Public Transport
Bus: Madison Metro Transit System (tel: (608) 266 4466; www.mymetrobus.com) operates a bus route (no. 20) that runs from the North Transfer Point to the airport. The buses leave from outside door 6.
Taxi: Badger Cab (tel: (608) 256 5566), Madison Taxi (tel: (608) 258 7458) and Union Cab (tel: (608) 242 2000) are among the taxi companies serving the airport. Taxis depart from outside door 7 at the north end of the baggage claim.

There is a tourist information booth on the ground floor.

Money and communications: ATMs are available in the terminal building.
Eating and drinking: An excellent restaurant and a cocktail lounge are located on the terminal's ground level. On the upper level there is a snack bar and a beer garden.
Shopping: There are gift shops and news-stands on both levels of the terminal.
Luggage: A porter service is available; porters are self-employed and rely on tips for their income. The airport 'lost and found' office can be contacted on (tel: (608) 661 4809).
Other facilities: The Bridges, an 18-hole golf course located on 266 acres of the airport's property, is open to the general public.
Conference and Business Facilities
A business centre is located on the terminal's upper level. Fax, Internet, business phones and conference rooms are available. Wi-Fi Internet access is available throughout the airport at a small charge.
Facilities for Disabled Travellers
All airport facilities are accessible to disabled travellers. Disabled parking is available in all areas of the parking facility. In the parking ramp, stalls are located near the two elevators on the terminal side of each level. TDD telephones are available. In the surface lot, stalls are west of the parking ramp. Disabled parking is also available in the economy park and walk lot.

There are no hotels on site. However, numerous properties in and around Madison itself offer complimentary shuttle services to and from the airport.
