The airport is situated approximately 22 km (14 miles) north of Dayton.


Airport News

A new control tower was completed in mid-2009. A 140-room Holiday Inn hotel is scheduled to open late 2010.

Driving Directions

From the south, take I-75 north to I-70 west to exit 32. From the east, take I-70 west to exit 32. From the west, take I-70 east to exit 32. From the north, take I-75 south to I-70 west to exit 32.

Car Parking

The short-term car park is located immediately beside the terminal building. The long-term car park has over 1,400 spaces, all within easy walking distance of the terminal. There is an economy car park as well. Shuttle shelters are located throughout, and a courtesy shuttle is available to and from the terminal, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Valet parking is also available at the front of the terminal. Parking information is available on (937) 898 1555.

Car Hire

Alamo, Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz and National are the car hire companies represented at the airport.

Public Transport

Taxi: A number of taxi companies offer service from the airport. The taxi booth (tel: (937) 890 3217) is located immediately outside the terminal.
Shuttle: Charter Vans (tel: (937) 898 4043; www.chartervans.com) offers shuttle services from the airport. A despatcher desk is situated in the baggage claim area.

Information and Help Desks

There is an information desk (tel: (937) 454 8200) in the terminal building.

Airport Facilities

Money and communications: An ATM is located near the information desk in the terminal building. Free Wi-Fi Internet access is available in the terminal.
Eating and drinking: A number of cafés, restaurants and bars offer food and drink..
Shopping: Gift shops and a book shop are available at the airport.
Luggage: There is a lost and found office (tel: (937) 454 8327) for items lost in the airport concourses. Skycap service is available for passengers on some airlines. Passengers should contact their airline for items left on aircraft.
Other facilities: A barbers and a shoe-shine service are available.

Conference and Business Facilities

There are two business centres at the airport, available exclusively to Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce member companies and to any travellers who are club members of a major airline and/or military personnel. The centres provide meeting rooms, telephone and free wireless Internet services. Free Wi-Fi internet access is also available throughout the terminal.

Facilities for Disabled Travellers

Skycaps provide wheelchair service on request. Companion assisted restrooms are available as well. TDD terminals are located at the phone board near the information centre and in the police office. Lifts in the terminal provide access to all levels of the airport and parking spaces for disabled visitors are available in every car park.

Hotels

Dayton Airport Hotel and Conference Center (tel: (937) 898 1000; www.thedaytonairporthotel.com) is located close to the airport terminal and offers a courtesy shuttle. The Travelodge Dayton Airport (tel: 1 800 578 7878; www.travelodge.com) is also close by, and offers shuttle services to the airport, as do a number of hotels in Dayton itself.
