The airport is currently underoing a range of general cosmetic and infrastructure developments, including redecoration inside the terminal and upgrades to the car parks.
Driving Directions
Coming from Gulfport/Biloxi, take the I-10 east. When approaching Mobile, take the Theodore Dawes exit 13 north. Follow this road for 14.5km (9 miles). Turn left onto Airport Boulevard. The airport is on the right. Coming from Pensacola, take I-10 to I-165. Take I-165 to I-65. Take I-65 south to the Hwy-98 exit 5B. Proceed west on Hwy-98 for 11km (7 miles). Turn left onto Schillinger Road and then right onto Airport Boulevard. The airport is on the right.
Car Parking
The airport offers short-term, long-term and valet parking. The first 30 minutes are free both in the long- and short-term parking lots. For more information, call (251) 633 4510.
Car Hire
Alamo, Avis, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National and Thrifty are represented within the terminal, while Budget has an office across the road. In-terminal desks are located on the first floor next to the baggage claim area. The car hire zones are located outside.
Public Transport
Shuttle: Door-to-door shuttle services are available on demand or by pre-booking with the airport's Customer Service Agents (tel: (251) 633 0313 or 1 800 357 5373). Schedules can be pre-set to accommodate traveller's needs with services to and from the airport. prices are set according to a zonal system.
Taxi: Taxis are available outside the baggage claim area. Journey time to the city centre is approximately 20 mins. Livery Cab & Sedan Service (tel: (251) 776 7474; www.liverycab.net), Michael's (tel: (252) 479 8833) and Yellow Cab (tel: (251) 476 7711) offer services to and from the airport.

There are no hotels at the airport. Reservations, for nearby hotels, can be made at the airport by contacting an airport customer service representative.
