Driving Directions
Coming from the west, take I-64 east to exit 197A. From the east, take I-64 west to exit 197A. From the north, take I-95 south to I-64 east to exit 197A. From the south, take I-95 north to I-64 east to exit 197A. From exit 197A take Airport Drive to the airport.
Car Parking
The airport has 8,000 parking spaces. Daily parking is located directly across from the terminal building and offers a combination of garage and surface parking. Hourly parking can be found in the first level areas of the North and South car parks.
Economy car parks are served by regular free shuttles to the terminal building. Valet parking is available at the terminal departure kerb. Disabled parking is available in all car parks. All EasyPark shuttles are wheelchair accessible. A new 'cell phone' car park is available for those meeting arriving passengers. Car Hire
Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National and Thrifty are located on the lower level of the terminal building behind the escalators.
Public Transport
Bus: The Greater Richmond Transit Company (tel: (804) 358 4782, www.ridegrtc.com) offers public buses to the Richmond terminal and to the city, as well as other greater Richmond locations.
Shuttle: Groome Transportation (tel: (804) 222 7222; www.groometransportation.com) offers shared ride and shuttle services from the airport to the surrounding area. Its offices can be found near baggage reclaim.
Taxi: Taxis are available kerbside by the North Garage from first flight departure to last flight arrival.

Airport Facilities
Money and communications: Full bank services are available in the main lobby on the ground floor. ATMs can be found in the upper level connector, between the atrium and the escalator, and in the lobby areas of the North and South Garages. Free Wireless Internet access is available on the upper level of the terminal.
Eating and drinking: A coffee bar is located in concourse A. Restaurants, grills and a take-away service are located in the upper level atrium. A restaurant and a pub can be found in concourse A, while another pub and burger restaurant are located in concourse B.
Shopping: There are several news and gift outlets within the terminal.
Luggage: Lost and found items are handled by the Airport Badging Office on the lower level of the terminal. Outside of the opening hours travellers should call (804) 226 3056 and leave their name, phone number and a description of their lost or found item.
Other facilities: There is a medical clinic in the Southern Office Block at the airport. Baby changing facilities can be found in all ladies' toilets.
Conference and Business Facilities
A teleconferencing centre is available on the lower level of the terminal building. The centre also provides communication services such as free WiFi Internet access and Ethernet LAN, and Internet connections for laptop computers. Extensive meetings and events space is available at the nearby Doubletree Hotel (tel: (804) 226 6400; doubletree1.hilton.com).
Facilities for Disabled Travellers
The airport is accessible for disabled travellers. Skycaps are available kerbside and can provide wheelchairs and luggage assistance for travellers with special needs. Lifts are located on the lower level of the terminal building near the hire car counters and in each multi storey car park.
All restrooms are wheelchair accessible. Pay phones throughout the terminal building are also wheelchair accessible. A TTY phone is located on the first level. Passengers requiring assistance to or from the gate areas can be escorted by a Skycap to their gate. Passengers should request this service when scheduling their flight.
