The airport is situated 12km (7 miles) to the northwest of Downtown Duluth.

Driving Directions
From I-35, exit 255, follow US 53N to the airport exit. From WI, follow US 53N to the airport exit. From US 2W, take US 194 to US 53S to the airport exit.
Car Parking
There is short- and long-term parking straight across from the terminal building. Disabled parking spaces are located near the walkway leading to the terminal. Passenger pick-up and drop-off takes place just outside the terminal.
Car Hire
There are five car rental agencies that have offices at the airport: Alamo, Avis, Budget, Hertz and National.
Public Transport
Bus: Duluth Transit Authority's route 5 (tel: (218) 722 4426; www.duluthtransit.com) connects the airport with downtown Duluth from Mon-Sat, journey time approximately 40 mins.
Taxi: A number of taxi services in the Duluth area serve the airport, including Ace-Hi Taxi (tel: (218) 722 2929), Allied Taxicab Co (tel: (218) 722 3311) and A Custom Cab (tel: (218) 341 9711).
