Location
The airport is located 45km (28 miles) north west of Grenoble and 85km (52 miles) south east of Lyon.
Airport News
There are plans to further extend the terminal, which was entirely rebuilt in 2002, to accommodate the recent growth in passenger numbers.
Driving Directions
From Lyon and Chambery, take the A43 towards the east and west respectively and turn south on the A48. Then about halfway to Grenoble take the exit signposted to Rives/Grenoble Airport, head west and follow the signs to the airport. From Grenoble, take the A48 towards the north and then take the exit signposted to Rives/Grenoble Airport, head west and follow the signs to the airport.
Car Parking
There are 500 parking spaces for cars just outside the main terminal. The first hour of parking is free.

Car hire is offered by Avis, Europcar, Hertz and National/Citer.
Public Transport
Bus: Keolis (tel: (01) 7118 0000; www.keolis.com) operates a shuttle service between Grenoble Airport and Grenoble Coach and Train Station that corresponds with all scheduled flights at the airport. Services are hourly both ways throughout the day, and journey time is approximately 45-50 mins. Regular AG Bus services (tel: (04) 7968 3296; www.agbus.fr) connect the airport with Lyon, about 65 minutes away.
Taxi: TMT Hervé (tel: (06) 8010 7871; TMTHerve.free.fr) offers taxi services throughout the region.
Shuttle: Numerous private operators provide connections with ski resorts in the region - details on the airport website.

Money and communications: There is no bank at the airport, but there are ATMs in the terminal building. A post box is available.
Eating and drinking: A bar and restaurant serving food, snacks and cold and hot drinks is available in the terminal.
Shopping: There are several shops at the airport, including a Relay news agent, a duty-free shop and a sports shop selling winter sports fashion and equipment.
Luggage: A lost and found service (tel: (04) 7665 4848) is available in the terminal building.
Other facilities: Baby care facilities are available in the boarding lounges. A first aid room is also available.
