The airport is located on the Palisadoes peninsula in the southeastern part of Jamaica, close to Port Royal and around 30 minutes away from Kingston.
Driving Directions
From Kingston, drive east on the main motorway along the coastline and turn onto the Norman Manley Highway in Harbour View. Then just follow the signs.

Both short-term and long-term parking is available at the airport.

The car hire offices are located in the business arcade in the western terminal building, outside the customs hall. Car hire companies at the airport include Bargain Rent-A-Car, International Rentals/Budget, Island Car Rentals, Kosmo Car Rentals, Liberty/Hertz, Praise Tours & Auto Rentals and Sunbird Car Rentals/Manzee.
Public Transport
Bus: The Jamaica Urban Transit Company (tel: 1 888 588 2287) operates the public bus service between the airport and Kingston's city centre. Bus 98 runs frequently throughout the day.
Taxi: Taxi service at the airport is provided by the Jamaica Union of Travelers Association (tel: 924 8511 or 924 8679), which has a fleet of air-conditioned vehicles ranging from sedans to large 30-seater buses.
Information and Help Desks
The airport customer service desks provide information about flights, facilities and travel, and are located in the departure concourse and the arrivals hall. A tourist information desk is also located in the arrivals hall.

Money and communications: ATMs are located in the customs hall and in the arrival pick-up area. Currency exchange services are located in the departure lounge and in the customs hall. The daily exchange rate is prominently displayed at each point. Internet kiosks are located in the departure lounge.
Eating and drinking: The airport's snack counters, a bar with a view of the airside, a cafe and two restaurants provide an array of food services to passengers.
Shopping: Duty-free and general retail shopping facilities can be found in the departure lounge. A wide range of quality gifts and novelties, exotic spices, books and CDs, flowers, ceramics, vintage liquors and souvenirs from Jamaica is on offer.
Luggage: A lost and found office (tel: 924 8546) is located at the security centre in the departure concourse and is open for 24 hours each day. Porters are available to help travellers with their luggage outside the customs hall and ticketing concourse.
Other facilities: A first aid service is available in the immigration hall. A police office is located outside of the customs hall. For further information, call 924 8002.
