The airport is located northeast of Sharm el Sheikh, near Ras Nasrani.

A second terminal was inaugurated in May 2007, bringing the airport's capacity to 8 million passengers per year.
Driving Directions
It's a 20-minute drive from the airport to the city centre. The airport is just off the main road that follows the coast directly into Sharm.
Car Parking
The car park is located just outside the terminal.
Car Hire
Car hire is available at the airport from Thrifty. Avis, Morgana Trade Centre, Noama Bay and Budget, Coral Bay Hotel have office in town. So does Thrifty, at the Hilton Fayrouz.
Public Transport
Taxi: Regular taxis and tourist taxis (which charge double the fare) operate from the airport. Minibuses also go to Sharm el Sheikh: they wait outside the airport and only leave once full (journey time - 20 minutes).
