The airport is also known as Terrance B. Lettsome Airport, following major renovations in 2004.

Driving Directions

The airport is situated on Beef Island, a cay linked to Tortola island by the Queen Elizabeth II Bridge.

Car Parking

Car parking is available directly outside the terminal.

Car Hire

Car hire is not available at the airport. International car rental companies can be found in Road Town, including: Avis, Budget and Hertz, as well as several local companies. Full details can be obtained from BVI Tourism (tel: (in UK) (020) 7355 9585; www.bvitourism.com).

Public Transport

Taxi: Taxis are available at the airport. The fare is about US$15 to Road Town, US$30 to Cane Garden Bay and US$35 to the West End. Hotels often provide courtesy shuttles to and from the airport.
Water: The North Sound Express (tel: 495 2138) connects the airport (at nearby Trellis Bay dock) to Virgin Gorda (book at least four hours ahead). There is also a free ferry to Marina Cay.
