Ankara's nightlife revolves around its student cafés, bars and restaurants in Kizilay and the more sophisticated eateries and clubs. From May to the end of September the city's outside seating spills out onto the pavement as gardens and open courtyards all come to life.

Presidential Symphony Orchestra

The Muzika-yi Hümayun is one of the oldest symphony orchestras in the world. After the proclamation of the Turkish Republic, founding President Mustafa Kemal Atatürk renamed it the "Presidential Symphony Orchestra".
