Closest Hotels to Legoland ® Windsor:
Following on from the success of the original LEGOLAND park in Billund, Denmark, LEGOLAND Windsor welcomed its first visitors in 1996 and since then has become one of England’s most popular theme parks. The park is split into nine different areas, each with its own theme. Miniland was the Danish counterpart’s founding feature and remains one of the biggest attractions for visitors of all ages, consisting of miniature models of European towns and cities, all created from a total of 35 million LEGO bricks. There are attractions for old and young alike and children can create their own inventions from the thousands of bricks in the Imagination Centre workshops, and visitors as young as three can learn to drive around a special LEGO driving track, complete with traffic lights. There are shows every day, including the spectacular live action stunt show at The Harbour which is packed with stunning special effects, thrilling gymnastics and hilarious comic routines.
