Attraction Information
Chessington World of Adventures
Chessington World of Adventures is the biggest theme park and zoo in the South of England. The park began life as a zoo, but was transformed into a theme park during the late 1980s, with the first rollercoaster ride opening in 1991. The park attracts thousands of visitors each day who come to enjoy the rides and zoo. The latter, which has been combined with the park, is home to one of the biggest families of gorillas in Europe and some of the world’s rarest large cats. The Trail of the Kings animal enclosure allows visitors to see animals safely from behind viewing screens.
