Driving directions:

From central Bari, follow Viale Europa (SP73) west out of the city. This road leads directly to the airport. The total drive time to the airport is approximately 20 minutes.

Public Transport

Public transport road:

Bus: Bus route 16 operates regularly between the airport and Piazza Moro in the city centre. Services depart the airport at 40-50 minute intervals between 0445 and 2300 (less frequent on holidays). Additionally, the TEMPESTA express bus (tel: +39 080 521 9172; www.autoservizitempesta.it) links the airport with Bari Central station, journey time is 30 minutes and the single fare is €4. Buses also operate from the airport to other cities in the region, including Taranto, Foggia and Brindisi.

Taxi:Taxis (tel: +39 080 554 3333; www.taxibari.it) are readily available outside the terminal. Journey time into the city is 15-30 minutes, and fares start at around €25.

Public transport rail:

Direct trains operate from the airport station into Bari Centrale (tel: +39 080 529 9111; www.ferrovienordbarese.it). The single adult fare is €5, which can be pre-booked online, and the journey time is about 15 minutes. Connections from Bari run to the rest of the region and country.

ATMs are available in both Arrivals and Departures, and a bureau de change is available in the arrivals area.

Restaurants, a pub and a wine bar are available within the terminal complex.

Shopping:

Several shops offer local goods and souvenirs, while duty free is available for departing non-EU passengers.

Baggage trolleys are provided, and a lost and found service (tel: +39 080 580 0200) is on-hand to assist with queries regarding luggage lost in the terminal.

Conference and business:

The business area at the airport has three meeting rooms on the second floor. The Parco dei Principi Hotel also offers meeting and conference rooms and is located close to the airport entrance (tel: +39 080 539 4811; www.parcodeiprincipibari.it).

Free Wi-Fi access is available in all areas of the terminal at Bari Airport, as are public telephones.

Disabled facilities:

The airport is fully accessible to physically disabled passengers, with lifts, specially designed toilets, and designated parking close to the terminal. The airport recommends that any passengers requiring additional assistance contact their airline before travelling.

Car parking:
