Botanic Gardens
These lovely gardens, laid out in the 19th century by the Botanic and Horticultural Society, are now a public park with the beautiful cast-iron and curvilinear glass Palm House, built in 1840, as the centrepiece. Other highlights include a Tropical Ravine, children's playground, walking routes and a bowling green.
