An information desk is located in the terminal. A tourist information counter is also available, which provides information about transport, the city, the region and accommodation. Excellent maps of the city are available from the tourist information desk.
The easiest way to drive between Salvador International Airport and the city is to follow the BA099 road that runs close to the coastline and follow the signs.
