Driving to Brunei
Driving to Brunei from the Malaysian states of Sarawak and Sabah is a breeze thanks to the excellent Pan Borneo Highway. Bus services to and from Brunei are handled by Jesselton Express (to Sabah; tel 673 718 3838) and PHLS (to Miri; tel 673 277 1668).
Getting to Brunei by boat
The main port is Muara. Water taxis link Bandar Seri Begawan with the Malaysian towns of Limbang and Lawas. Car ferries connect Muara's Serasa Ferry Terminal with Menumbok and Pulau Labuan, both in Malaysia.
About a dozen cruise ships dock at Muara each year.
