Weather in Buenos Aires

Best time to visit

Buenos Aires is a year-round destination, with even the winter months (June to August) relatively mild. The city can get very hot and humid during summer (December to February). At this time, many residents leave the city and head down the coast or to Uruguay, and consequently many businesses close, so Buenos Aires can seem rather quiet. March and April are lovely months to visit, as there is plenty of sunshine, yet the heat is less oppressive. Similarly, October offers fresh and sunny spring days.
