Aberdeen Tours

Walking tours
For a city with such a rich history, visitors may choose to hire the services of a guide to show them the sights. Bespoke tours, including walking tours, can be arranged through the tourist office (see Sightseeing). Alternatively you could try either of these Blue Badge-registered guides: Duncan Barker (tel: (01224) 744 078; www.duncans-flexitours.co.uk) or Pam Wells (tel: (01224) 735 733; www.pamwells.com).

Bus tours
The tourist office (see Sightseeing) can also help organise taxi or coach tours down to the old harbour and fishing village of Footdee. They also have information about open-top bus tours of the city which operate during the summer months. Tickets are valid for 24 hours and passengers can hop on and off as often as they like during this time period.
