Salzburg Airport, just 4km (2.5 miles) to the west of the city, has scheduled flights to several European cities, including Frankfurt, Vienna, London, Paris, Dublin and Stockholm.

CityBus (StadtBus) 2 goes at regular intervals (every 10 minutes, or every 20 minutes on Sundays and public holidays) between Salzburg's main railway station and Salzburg Airport. The journey time is approximately 20 minutes. The airport is also well serviced by taxi companies.
