Málaga Excursions
Another popular excursion is by boat (75 minutes) to Benalmádena Costa. This is operated by Cruceros Málaga (tel: 952 122 288) and departs from near the ferry terminal in the port. (Alternatively you could catch the C1 train to Benalmádena). The boat arrives in this smart new marina resort with many bars, restaurants and family attractions geared to the holiday trade. Benalmádena ‘Pueblo', the original village 5km (3 miles) inland, is a charming traditional whitewashed village.
On a sunny weekend, hop on a local bus to the beaches at Pedragalejo where there is a very lively day and night scene plus excellent fish restaurants.
