Split Excursions
Popular excursions from Split include medieval Trogir (website: www.trogir.hr), a mini city on a small island connected to the mainland by a bridge, and a UNESCO World Heritage site. The coastal town of Omiš (website: www.tz-omis.hr) also draws visitors, most of whom are lured by the challenge of white-water rafting in the nearby Cetina Valley.
