Daily bus passes are available. The AMT buses are blue, while the regional buses operated by Azienda Provinciale Transporti Verona (tel: (045) 8057911; website: www.aptv.it) are orange.

There are several taxi ranks throughout the city including at the train station and at Piazza Bra. Many taxi drivers do not respond to attempts at hailing their taxi on the street. To pre-book a taxi try Taxi & Autoblu (tel: (045) 858 1403) or Unione Radiotaxi (tel: (045) 800 4528).

There are numerous car hire companies operating in Verona.
