Bordeaux - Getting There By Rail

The SNCF Gare St Jean, rue Charles Domercq (tel: (08) 3635 3535; website: www.sncf.fr), is 3km (2 miles) from the centre. The station is served several times daily by the high speed TGV trains (website: www.tgvesteuropeen.com) to Lille, Toulouse, Paris Montparnasse and Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, with connections to London, Brussels and Amsterdam. Regular trains (SNCF) go to Nantes, Poitiers, Marseille, Nice, Lyon and Toulouse, and regional trains (TER) to Bayonne, La Rochelle, Arcachon, Limoges, Agen and Pau.
