Nice Côte D'Azur airport, now France's second busiest, is located 6km (3.5 miles) from the city centre. It is the main airport in France for no frills airlines. There are hourly flights to Paris Orly.
Services include duty-free shops, currency exchange, bar, toilets, telephones, shops and ATM machines. Ada, Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, National and Sixt all provide car hire. The airport business centre, located in terminal one, provides fully equipped meeting areas with a capacity for 250 people as well as smaller offices. Internet access is available.
Bus 23 connects the airport to the city centre, terminating at the main railway station, though there are also buses from the airport to various destinations across France. Metered taxis are also available outside the terminal. Ensure the meter is switched on or agree a fare in advance.
