Leeds Bradford International Airport is situated 17.5km (11 miles) north of Leeds city centre and connects with about 40 destinations in the UK and parts of Continental Europe.
It has all the usual services and facilities you'd expect at an international airport including good disabled access, ATMs, currency exchange, car rental, photo booths, children's play area, games zone, a choice of shops and a wide range of bars and restaurants.
For anyone needing Internet access, there is a wireless service that is accessible from any part of the airport as well as cyber desks and dial-up booths. Travellers can also take advantage of the Business Executive Lounge/Yorkshire Executive Club, which offers a quiet and relaxed area with free drinks, newspapers and work stations. The lounge is open to all passengers and can be booked in advance or on arrival subject to availability. The airport also has a Fast Track priority lane that allows qualifying passengers to process quickly through the airport's security central screening zone (CSZ).
The Metroconnect 757 bus operates regular services between the airport and the city's bus and train stations. Signposted off the M1 and M62 motorways as well as the Yorkshire section of the A1, the city is an easy 20-minute drive from the airport. Taxis can be booked on arrival at the airport.
