Phnom Penh Tours of the City

A great way to visit the main sights of Phnom Penh is on foot as they are fairly close together. You could start by visiting Wat Phnom and Wat Ounalom, take in the National Museum and finish at the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda. Tuol Sleng is a little further away and may be too far to walk in the heat.

Tours by car with a guide can be arranged through Exotissimo Travel (tel: (023) 218 948; website: www.exotissimo.com) and Diethelm Travel (tel: (023) 219 151; website: www.diethelmtravel.com). Dinner cruises are available on the Chenla Luxury Boat (tel: (012) 758 992) or on the Kanika catamaran (tel: (023 224 843; website: www.seametreycambodia.org) with proceeds going to the Seametrey Children's Village.
