Kiev Tours

Walking tours are popular in Kiev since most of the top sights, such as St Sofia's Cathedral and Maidan Nezalezhnosti, are within easy walking distance of each other. Kievo Pechersky Caves Monastery is some way from the centre and would more likely feature on a coach tour that may well take in some of the museums such as Ukrainian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War.

Although the mighty Dnieper runs through Kiev, most of the sights worth seeing have been built inland and most cruises head south towards the Crimea and Black Sea.
