Cracow's airport is located 11km (7 miles) west of the city centre (journey time - 20 minutes by taxi or train) and is Poland's second largest international airport.
Approximate flight times to Cracow: Direct from London is 2 hours 25 minutes and from Chicago is 11 hours. Via Warsaw: New York is 9 hours (plus transfer), Los Angeles is 13 hours (plus transfer), Toronto is 10 hours (plus transfer) and Sydney is 25 hours (plus stopover and transfer).
Airport facilities: Facilities include a bar, a bistro-restaurant and cafe, bureau de change, ATMs, 24-hour first aid, duty-free shops, baggage lockers, Wi-Fi posts, a post office and a tourist information desk. Car hire is available from Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, Alamo National and Sixt. There is an executive lounge for business-class passengers and traveller-club members.
Transport to the city: The MPK (www.mpk.krakow.pl) bus 192 and the far-less-frequent bus 208 depart regularly for the city centre (journey time - 40 minutes). Polskie Koleje Panstwowe (PKP) (Polish Railways) (www.pkp.pl) now links the Dworzec Krakow Glowny (Crakow's Main Railway Station) with the airport once or twice an hour (journey time - 20 minutes). Taxis are available too (journey time - 20 minutes).
