Tours take between one and a half and two hours, meeting at the front of Union Station, on the corner of 17th Street and Wynkoop Street.

Gray Line of Denver (tel: (303) 289 2841 or 1 800 348 6877; website: www.coloradograyline.com) offers a Denver City Tour, which takes three hours and covers all the major sites. Tours run daily all year at 0830 and 1330. There is also a four-hour Mountain Parks Tour, which takes in the foothills, Red Rocks, Golden and Lookout Mountain. Tours run daily all year at 1330, and there is a discount for combined tours.
