Cambridge - Transport
Public Transport
Most of the city's main sites are within easy walking distance from the centre, so many visitors to Cambridge decide to explore the city exclusively as pedestrians. This is part of the reason why the Park & Ride car parks outside of town are much used. Still, the public transport system is very good. Several types of ticket are available, including the City Megarider, which provides unlimited travel on Citi buses for seven days. In addition, a free city centre shuttle bus service runs every 15 minutes (Mon-Sat 0900-1800).
Taxis
