Film: With its 1076 seats and eight screens, Kino1 Stavanger, Kulturhuset, Sølvberggaten 2 (tel: 5151 0700; website: www.filmweb.no/stavangerkino) is the fourth largest cinema in Norway. Its sister cinema in Sandnes, Kino1 Sandnes (tel: 5151 0700; www.filmweb.no/sandneskino), is the most modern cinema in Norway and has seven screens and 901 seats altogether. They both screen a fairly wide repertoire of films, from blockbusters to independent to international cinema.
