The airport is located 17km (11 miles) west of the city.
Facilities at the airport include three ATMs, car hire, and tourist information offices (tel: 958 245 269) in the main hall and the baggage collection hall. Other facilities include a café, a shop selling gifts, souvenirs and regional foods and drinks, a first aid post, parking for 450 cars, and VIP and meeting rooms available for rent. There are no cafés or shops once you have passed through security.
Taxis are found outside the arrivals hall, as is the stop for nine daily buses to the city centre operated by Autocares José González (tel: 958 490 164).
