Over the past few years, tourism has been growing rapidly and, to cater for this, numerous hotels have been built offering a good range of facilities to suit most tastes and pockets. Many hotels cater almost exclusively for Japanese tourists. There is now a good range of accommodation on offer. A number of business hotels and family style accommodation are located in Hagåtña, Maite, Tamuning and Mangilao. As the island is small, most of these properties are close to the airport. Tumon bay is the Island's premier resort destination.
