(a) 1. EU nationals holding a valid national ID card.
Visas
2. EU nationals staying longer than 90 days will need to register with the immigration department.
3. Nationals of Australia, Canada and the USA staying longer that 90 days will need to apply for a long-stay visa.

b)Everyone wishing to apply for a visa to visit Hungary is required to make an appointment in advance. The only exceptions are family members of EEA and Hungarian nationals, and diplomatic missions in the UK, who may submit their applications without prior appointment.
c)Family members of EEA citizens, who hold a blue coloured residence documentation in their passports with the document type 'RESIDENCE CARD OF A FAMILY MEMBER OF AN EEA NATIONAL' are not required to have a visa in order to travel to Hungary, so they can travel to Hungary without a visa.
