The most popular holiday season is from May until the end of September, with temperatures averaging 20 to 21ºC (68-70ºF). Rainfall averages 84cm (33 inches) a year, most of which falls during the cooler months. Sea temperatures average over 17°C (63ºF) in deep water during the summer.
Required ClothingNormal beach and holidaywear for summer, with a jumper or similar as there are often sea breezes. Warm winterwear and rainwear are advised.
