Getting There by Air

The nearest international gateway is Antigua. Winair (website: www.fly-winair.com) operates several daily flights from Antigua to Montserrat. Carib Aviation (website: www.candoo.com/carib) and Caribbean Helicopters (website: www.caribbeanhelicopters.net) run charter services.

Approximate Flight Times

From Antigua to Montserrat is 20 minutes. From London to Antigua is 8 hours and from New York is 4 hours.

Main Airports

Geralds International Airport (MNI) opened in 2005. To/from the airport: Taxis are available. Facilities: Souvenir shops and a restaurant.

WH Bramble Airport has been closed since August 1997 owing to volcanic activity.
Departure Tax
EC$35 (US$13) for CARICOM nationals and EC$55 (US$21) for other nationals.

Getting There by Water

There is currently no ferry service from Antigua.
