The national airline is Our Airline (ON) (previously Air Nauru) (website: www.airnauru.com.au).

Approximate Flight Times

From Brisbane to Nauru is 5 hours 45 minutes, including a 1-hour stopover in Honiara (Solomon Islands).

Main Airports

Nauru International Airport (INU). To/from the airport: Buses run into town. Facilities: Shops. There is also a Chinese restaurant next door to the airport.
Air Passes
Visit the South Pacific Pass: valid with Solomon Airlines (IE), Air Vanuatu (NF), Our Airline (Air Nauru) (ON), Qantas (QF), Air Niugini (PX), Aircalin (SB) and Air Pacific (FJ). The pass allows flexible island-hopping within the South Pacific, for up to 40% off normal airfares.
Departure Tax
A$50 per person on departure. Transit passengers and those under 12 years of age are exempt.

Getting There by Water

Main port: Nauru.

Main sealinks are with Australia, New Zealand and Japan. Coastal hazards force commercial vessels to moor some way offshore.
