• Somali Telemedia Network (STN) is a private channel, rebroadcasting Qatar-based Al-Jazeera TV and CNN.
• Somali Broadcasting Corporation (SBC) is a private network based in Puntland.

• Radio Mogadishu, Voice of the Republic of Somalia is a FM station operated by the transitional government.
• Radio HornAfrik is a very popular private FM station in Mogadishu, which rebroadcasts BBC programmes.
