Passports

Passport valid for six months after date of return required by all nationals referred to in the chart above:

Note: As of 23 January 2007 all persons, including US citizens, travelling by air between the USA and Canada, Central and South America, the Caribbean and Bermuda are required to present a valid passport or other approved document when entering or re-entering the USA. Similar requirements for those travelling by land or sea will be introduced as early as 1 January 2008. Visas

Not required by nationals referred to in the chart above for stays of up to three months.

(a) Commercial cruise ship passengers do not require a visa provided they are in St Kitts and Nevis for under 24 hours.
(b) Additionally, proof of sufficient funds and a return or onward passage might be required. There is a departure tax of $60 XCD (about $22 USD) payable in cash, or by credit card - Visa or MasterCard - at  the airport.

Types of Visa and Cost

Ordinary: £45 in person; £50 if posted.

Validity

Depends on individual application. Usually up to three months.

Working Days Required

If all documents are in order and appointment is made, visas may be issued instantly. However, generally two working days are required.
