Belize Weather and Climate
Subtropical with a brisk prevailing wind from the Caribbean Sea. High annual temperatures and humidity. The rainy season is from mid-May until November with a dry season from January to April. The hurricane season is from June to the end of November. January is the coldest month and May is the hottest.
Required Clothing
Lightweight cottons and linens. A light shell jacket is recommended for rainy season. Long sleeved shirts and pants are needed for protections against mosquitoes.
